Sevens Consulting Group Ltd. was founded in 2017 by its President, Mark Pace.
Mark is a gaming industry executive with a career that spans over 40 years in land-based casino operations, slot machine manufacturing, gaming systems development, online gaming technical operations, lottery technical operations, and regulatory affairs at the local and federal levels internationally.
Mark’s resume includes working at Harrah’s Entertainment for over 22 years. Over that span of time, he held positions with various levels of responsibility in accounting, finance, information technology, slot operations, and regulatory affairs at both the local casino property and corporate levels.
In 2003, he joined WMS Gaming Inc., a slot machine and system manufacturer. During his 12 years at WMS, he was responsible for Systems Engineering, Quality Assurance, Packaging, Safety and Engineering Reliability, Networked Gaming Development, Technical Operations, Jurisdictional Regulatory Engineering, Class II (Bingo & Pull-tab) Gaming Operations, and Business Analytics.
As a result of the Scientific Games Inc. acquisition of WMS, he took over responsibility for Global Technical Operations of all customer facing systems for the Lottery, Land-based Gaming, and Online gaming divisions globally, managing engineering teams in 10 cities across 4 continents.
While at Harrah’s Entertainment, WMS Gaming and Scientific Games, he volunteered at the International Gaming Standards Association (IGSA) for fifteen years representing those gaming companies, and was IGSA’s Treasurer and Vice-chairman of the Board of Directors.
In 2017, he left Scientific Games and joined IGSA as the Managing Director of GSA Europe. In 2018, he was named Vice President of IGSA in addition to his responsibilities looking after the European office.
In 2019, Mark was named co-project leader of the European Committee for Standardization’s TC/456 where he led the Workgroup at the European Commission’s request for “Reporting in support of Online Gaming supervision”, successfully creating the first-ever pan-European approved gaming data reporting standard.
As part of his IGSA responsibilities, Mark has worked with various legislators and regulators in Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America, acting as a resource and advisor on gaming operations, regulations, and technology. In February of 2024, he was appointed President of IGSA, where he continues to advocate for standards, practical regulatory frameworks, and the utilization of technology for the betterment of the gaming industry.
